Autumn Course Winners
|
The MHDCS 10 week beginners obedience course has come round again with the usual speed. This time in a slightly different format as there was a presentation of the new Derek Norton Trophy to the winner by his wife Marrion, daughters Karen and Julie and his grand daughter Joanne.
This new trophy is to honour Derek for his wit, charm, warmth and dedication. He was a founder member of the MHDCS, and will continue to be missed by all who knew him.

The most improved dog on our Autumn 2010 course was Mr Tim Harris with Merlin. |
|
Merlin is just seven months old and his great grandad was a collie. Tim trains gun dogs and also takes on working gun dog testing. Tim brought Merlin to the MHDCS obedience course to help improve socialisation skills with other dogs. Merlin likes to relax with a beer when not competing and often helps himself to Mr Harris' pint! |
